Whenever I’m going to photograph a breed of Dogs I haven’t worked with before, I read as much as I can about its heritage. I find out what they were bred for, what their desired characteristics are and what people most appreciate about them. What is the appeal of that particular breed?

Recently, our family took a vacation to Florida and we needed to leave our two dogs with people we trusted.  We decided to take our dogs to a doggy day care where they could get out and play and be spoiled rotten.  Before we took them, they had to be up to date on their vaccinations and get a flu shot.  I was pretty shocked that a dog would need a flu shock, but I happily paid the $25 fee for each dog and felt better about taking the dogs to the doggy day care.  The dogs stayed at the doggy day care for a total of 11 days.  We picked the dogs up and went home.  the following day, our youngest dog began backwards sneezing and coughing.  I took my dog to the vet and found out she had kennel cough.  This is what I found out about kennel cough...
